HerStory: The Women of theParentVoice.Com

It is the first of the month which means it is time for HerStory, my monthly series where I present entrepreneurial women/mothers who are like you and me, but just a little bit different.

Today, I want to focus on a special group of women, all mothers. It is with great pride that I introduce to you:

The Women of theParentVoice.Com

These are the women who form the core team of the newest online magazine for multiracial, multiethnic, and multicultural families – www.theparentvoice.com.

It is with even greater pride that I tell you that I have had the pleasure of working with each one of these women because they are my family, my tPV, family – my theParentVoice, family.

I recently wrote about having found my calling. If you missed that post, please do catch up on it here. In this post, rather than rewrite what I wrote as an editorial for our magazine’s launch issue (launched TODAY!! August 1, 2017), I will just direct you to that link.

We may not be entrepreneurs by the more popularly accepted definition of the word since we don’t make money out of this incredible work. However, each one of us embodies the entrepreneurial spirit. I am really proud of my team.

We worked really hard, sacrificing family time for emailing possible leads, writers, or sending messages to our remote colleagues discussing the latest technology crises on our hands, or options for doing some things a certain way over another. We are an international team remotely located but working on one mission, our theparentvoice.com mission.

I am so grateful to these amazing folks who have nurtured a fleeting dream and given it a home and a life.

Get to know Lakshmi Iyer, Hema Nataraju, Séverine Perronnet, Emily Gold, and Jessica Colman Cheng and yours truly – Meet the Team
